Good morning from a soggy Cattail!
Despite the rain, work on the Community Hall restoration continues to move along smoothly. Heiko, Tony Smith, and Tony's brother have the block walls in place, including an access door facing the creek. The next step is to pour concrete into the cinder block wall, which is reinforced with rebar in concrete footers to create a strong, permanent foundation.
Of equal importance, construction of the new temporary bridge at the Baden cabin is scheduled to begin this morning. Expect traffic delays, as the construction equipment and trucks involved are extremely large.
That's all for now, but please watch for another email from me in the next week or two regarding our Annual Meeting. I'll be sending the meeting agenda, proxy information (for those unable to attend), and a reminder about annual dues.
